Do you all remember Jane Hindes?

She has returned to Morgan Storage- Salem. We are all happy to have Jane is in the Salem office Tuesday and Saturday each week. She says it's like old times being at 8 Willow Street, and seeing many friends from years back. Jane and her husband Steve lived on property and ran the facility full time for over 4 years. She's great in keeping track of the office and the grounds, plus she always has a quick story about one of her kids or grandkids.

Helping those in Haiti

Morgan Self Storage was honored to donate the transport of 140 desks that were donated by UNH Manchester. Morgan Storage provided the cargo trailer and storage space in getting these items from UNH to the shipper. They are ultimately going to be distributed to schools in Haiti. Vision International Missions will be meeting with the shipping container to deliver these desks to schools.

November 2009 Special Olympics Winners

Friday, November 6th 2009, was an exciting day for the staff of Special Olympics NH. They won the promotion Morgan Self Storage offered to businesses who have been loyal customers for over a decade!
Starting with breakfast, catered by Brad Lichtman of BML Catering,  the office staff enjoyed homemade cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit and coffee.  Throughout the morning, the entire staff was treated to 30 minutes chair massages; Diane of Therapy Designed for You, removed the stress from the neck, shoulders and arms.  After all were relaxed, a wonderful cantered lunch by Brad was served.
We enjoyed pampering Special Olympics considering all the years that have generously served many.

July 2009 Jelly Bean Contest

Morgan Storage had a Jelly Bean Contest running for the month of June. The contest was to give us your best guess to how many Jelly Beans in the jar.
We have tallied up the answers, the winner of the Jelly Bean Contest is Kristi Whitten of Keller Williams Realty, Bedford NH.

January 2008 winter clothing drive

Dear Warmth from the Millyard supporter,

On behalf of my students in the Community Leadership Program at UNH Manchester, thank you and your organization for your support during our recent warm clothing drive. Your commitment to helping non-profit organizations in our community is sincerely appreciated.

The 2008 winter clothing drive would not have been such a huge success without you! We provided more than 2,800 articles of clothing to families in need amongst us. The clothes have been distributed and it was an honor to see the appreciative looks on the families’ faces while receiving your donations.

The goal of the Community Leadership Program is to continue to make difference in the lives of people in our community by doing more service projects like this one to raise awareness of the certain social issues in our community.

Thank you for allowing us to partner with your organization for this great cause. We look forward to working with you again in the future! Thanks again for your generous support! Your daily effort helps teach us all a valuable lesson about the power of community and collectives action. We are including a poster to put up to let others know about the success of the Drive, a card from your recipients of the clothings, and information about the Community Leadership spring course offerings…

New Tenant Special Promotion - Manchester/Salem, NH

Morgan Storage’s special for new tenants moving in between November 15 and December 15 was if they donated a minimum of $25 for the Salvation Army Santa Fund they would get their first months rent for FREE. We had many tenants participate raising a total of $325.00!
We would like to thank everyone that chose Morgan’s to be an extension of their home or office.  We appreciate your business and we’re sure the kids receiving the gifts appreciate you too!

November FOOD DRIVE

Morgan Storage are grateful for all our new customer's participation in the Food Drive.

In the short amount of time, we collected food, 6 large boxes of canned goods, pasta and other non-perishable items were recieved. The donated food was given to a local church in the Salem Community and Manchester Shelter. Another option for our new customers was to make a cash donation directly to the NH Food Bank or Food for Children; $575.00 was collected!

We are very thankful to be surrounded by such wonderful people Thank you to all for showing support to such a great cause, it is much appreciated by all. .

On behalf of the Boys & Girls Club of Manchester please accept my heartfelt thanks for your contribution of back packs and school supplies to our kids. As you may be aware, many of our kids come from circumstances that don’t allow for the purchase these supplies to get them ready for school because many of our families just struggle to put food on the table and scrape to get by with the bare minimum. Although these items may seem small to some people, to our kids they mean a great deal because it provides them with the tools and the encouragement they need to try harder in school. All young people want to feel like they belong and by having these items like their other classmates they don’t feel left out. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and having a direct impact of some of our kids.
