Locations and hours Where is Morgan Self Storage located?
Morgan Self Storage has two locations in southern New Hampshire. Our Manchester facility is at 400 Bedford Street, Manchester, NH 03101, phone (603) 623-2000. Our Salem facility is at 8 Willow Street, Salem, NH 03079, phone (603) 509-0055. Salem is a short drive from Windham, Pelham, Methuen, and Haverhill, and Manchester serves Bedford, Hooksett, Goffstown, and Auburn.
What are your office hours?
Manchester office hours are Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 12 PM to 5 PM. Our Salem office is managed remotely Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Reach the Salem manager by phone at (603) 509-0055 during those hours.
What are your access hours? Can I get to my unit outside office hours?
At the Manchester location, tenants can access their units daily from 9 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday 12 PM to 5 PM. For access after these hours we can arrange a manager to be on the property for a small fee of $38 an hour. At our Salem location, tenants using a personal gate code have access hours Sunday-Saturday 7 AM to 8 PM.
Renting a storage unit Do I have to sign a long-term lease?
No. Morgan Self Storage rents units on a month-to-month basis, so you can store for one month or several years. You only pay for the time you need.
What do I need to rent a storage unit?
You need a valid government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, passport, or state ID. You can rent online or in person at either office.
Can I rent a storage unit online?
Yes. At our Manchester location, you can reserve and rent a unit online 24/7 using the Rent Now button, then stop by the office with your ID and move in the same day.

How much does a storage unit cost?
Prices depend on the unit size, type, and location. Small lockers are our most affordable option, and larger drive-up and climate-controlled units cost more. See current rates on our online rental page and check our current specials for move-in deals.
What size storage unit do I need?
A small locker holds boxes, documents, and seasonal items. A 5x10 fits the contents of a studio apartment or dorm room. A 10x10 typically holds a one-bedroom apartment, and a 10x20 can hold a two- to three-bedroom home. Our storage size guide shows what fits in each unit, and our staff can help you choose.
Do I need insurance for my stored belongings?
Yes, all tenants must carry protection for stored goods. You can use your homeowner's or renter's policy or purchase a protection plan at move-in.
Storage options: What types of storage do you offer?
Morgan Self Storage in Manchester offers temperature-controlled storage units, small storage lockers, outdoor vehicle parking, commercial flex spaces, and music rehearsal studios. Business storage is available at both locations. Our Salem, NH location offers drive-up units as well as indoor heated units.
What is temperature-controlled storage, and do I need it? Temperature-controlled units stay within a moderate range year-round, which protects items from New Hampshire's freezing winters and humid summers. We recommend it for wood furniture, electronics, photos, documents, artwork, musical instruments, and clothing.
Do you have rehearsal space for bands, musicians, and artists?
Yes. Morgan Self Storage in Manchester rents private rehearsal and art studios on a month-to-month basis. Bands and musicians can practice and leave their gear set up between sessions, and artists get a dedicated workspace. Studios range from 100 to 700 square feet.
Do you have commercial space for rent? Yes. Both our Manchester and Salem locations have commercial spaces for rent that are separate from our storage units. Call Manchester at (603) 623-2000 or Salem at (603) 509-0055 for current availability.
Can I store a car, motorcycle, or RV?
Yes. We offer outdoor parking spaces for vehicles, small RVs, and motorcycles at both our Manchester and Salem locations. Proof of registration and insurance is required. Payments: How do I pay my storage bill?
You can pay online with a debit or credit card, or pay in person at the office by cash, check, or card.
Do you offer autopay?
Yes. Tenants who sign up for autopay qualify for our No Late Fee Guarantee. Ask our office staff to set it up, or enroll online through the payment portal.
Security: Is my stuff safe at Morgan Self Storage?
Both facilities are monitored by 24-hour video surveillance, and a security alarm system protects the property outside office hours and records who enters and exits.
Storage rules: What can't I store in a storage unit?
For safety and legal reasons, you cannot store perishable food, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous materials, combustible items, or electric scooters. Your rental agreement has the full list.
Can I live in or work out of my storage unit? No one may live or sleep in a storage unit. Both locations offer commercial spaces to rent that are separate from the storage units.
